Twist Loop Extension Springs

Extension springs require a method of attaching the spring to a mating part. Twist loops refer to a loop that is pulled up from the body (Similar to an open clamshell) and then twisted to be parallel to the body, thus providing a loop to attach to the mating part. Twist loops provide a larger radius in transition from the body to the loop than some other loop styles. Therefore, there is less stress at that location which will allow for a longer life expectancy. Twist loops can be made closed or with gaps to allow space to hook onto the mating part. The position of the loops can be anywhere from in-line to a custom configuration.
