The four types of metallurgical classifications for steel are: Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, Alloy Steels, and Non-Ferrous materials. During design, such factors as temperature and corrosion, conductivity, physical properties, and types of materials available should be considered. The most common materials are Music Wire, Hard Drawn, and 300 Series Stainless Steel.

Only modern equipment is used at A1 Spring & Stamping, which not only increases efficiency, but helps maintain the same quality that is lost with production outside of the United States.
